Reception & Events Assistant - Full Time
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our Reception & Events team.
As Reception & Events Assistant you will work with our Reception team to ensure the smooth and efficient operational running of our Hotel Reception. You will also have the opportunity to look after our small function room bookings, from the initial enquiry through to delivery.
Responsibilities:
-
Welcoming guests, checking their details against their bookings, getting them checked in and providing room keys.
-
Answering phone calls from customers and guests, handling their enquiries, taking messages, accepting bookings for the hotel and restaurant.

Completing administrative tasks.
-
Preparing hotel guests room bills, checking guests out and taking payments.
-
Take enquiries for our small function rooms and providing information and prices.
-
Provide booking forms and invoices to clients for their function.
-
Provide event plans to the internal teams to ensure that all departments are notified of each events requirements.

Ensuring events suites are set up correctly in line with client requirements.
-
Ensure refreshment breaks are served at the correct times on event days.

Assist with other areas of the business as and when required.

Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications

Hotel Night Porter - Full Time
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and friendly Hotel Night Porter to join our busy team.
The role covers all areas of front of house duties including serving drinks to Hotel guests, checking in and out Hotel guests, setting up function rooms and ensuring the security of the building throughout the night hours.
Responsibilities:
-
Welcoming late arriving Hotel guests and assisting with guest queries.
-
Administering check-ins, check-outs and assigning rooms.
-
Setting up function rooms and cleaning down from the days events.
-
Undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests to ensure a comfortable stay.
-
Ensuring the security of the building is maintained throughout the night hours, including regular walk rounds.
-
Serve drinks at the bar for hotel guests.
-
Be fully conversant with tjhe procedures in case of emergency. This will cover the procedure for guests being taken ill, fire safety procedure, and also for yoursefl working alone.

Ensure public areas are cleaned.
Requirements:
-
Experience working in a Hotel and working during the night preffered but not essential.
-
Experience using Microsoft Suite programmes and completing administration tasks.

Reliable, as well as courteous and professional at all times.
-
A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
-
Able to work well under pressure.
-
First aid experience, however training can be provided.

Must be able to work well as part of a team and individually.

Bar & Waiting Staff - Full Time & Part Time
We are looking for experienced, motivated and friendly bar and waiting staff to join our busy team.
The role covers all areas of front of house duties including taking orders from customers, serving food and drinks, talking to customers about daily specials and offers, and ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience. You will also have the opportunity to work on some of our events and functions which includes private parties and Wedding Receptions.
Responsibilities:

Taking food and drinks orders from customers and ensuring orders are placed correctly.

Running food from the kitchen to customers.

Checking back on tables with their food orders.
-
Restock and replenish the bar and ensuring stock rotation to minimise wastage.

Ensure the bar area is kept clean and tidy.
Requirements:

Previous hospitality experience preferred, however training will be given.

Reliable, as well as courteous and professional at all times.

A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.

Able to work well under pressure.

Must be able to work well as part of a team.

You will be flexible, hardworking and fun!
Full time and Part time hours available
Hours include lunch times, evenings and weekends.
Must be over 18 years old to work behind the bar.
Performance related bonus scheme.
