General Manager - Full Time
We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced General Manager to oversee and take responsibility for the daily operations of the 59 bedroom hotel, bar and restaurant in Sywell, Northampton.
As General Manager you will be required to manage all aspects of the business operations, working closely with all departments. Your key objective is to ensure the smooth running of all departments and to ensure we deliver excellent and consistent service to our customers. We would expect our General Manager to have a “hands on” approach.
Responsibilities:

Leading and managing all aspects of the daily operations, including events.

Ensuring we deliver high standards of service and hospitality to our customers.

Improving internal processes to better support the business.

Be accountable for the recruitment of great team members in line with the resourcing plan.

Overseeing staff training and development.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, in particular all aspect of food hygiene, fire regulations and health and safety.

Sous Chef - Full Time

Responsibilities:

Hotel Night Porter - Full Time
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and friendly Hotel Night Porter to join our busy team.
The role covers all areas of front of house duties including serving drinks to Hotel guests, checking in and out Hotel guests, setting up function rooms and ensuring the security of the building throughout the night hours.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that all hotel bedrooms and bathroom areas are cleaned and presented to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing, and refreshing of all linens and towels as required.

Apply disinfectants and other cleaning products to counters, toilets, mirrors, window, floors and other surfaces in the hotel bedrooms and public areas.

Report any maintenance issues and deal with lost property.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Events Manager to join our busy team. The role covers our full events portfolio including our large Airfield Events, Hangar One, Hangar Two and the Cirrus Suite.
The post holder will be an experienced events manager with excellent skills in planning and delivering events plus managing relationships with staff at all levels, external stakeholders and suppliers. We are looking for a customer focussed individual with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, can do attitude. You will need excellent organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use your own initiative.
Responsibilities:

Full management and co-ordination of all events from initial enquiry right up to delivery, and you will be expected to be hands on running the events.

To conduct show rounds of the events facilities and demonstrate a full knowledge of the events products and services.

Ensure all sales enquiries are handled efficiently ensuring the Companies tariffs are applied. Any alterations or promotions to be with the agreement of the Managing Director.

Preparation of all relevant event documentation including contracts, running orders, floor plans and menus.

Understand the requirements of the customer and ensure all milestones are clearly communicated and met.
