Chef De Partie - Full Time

 

The Aviator is looking for a professional Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. As a Chef De Partie, your main responsibility will be to amaze our customers with your excellent cooking skills all whilst keeping a cool head and working well as part of a team.

As head of your section you need to be confident to manage the commis chefs working with you, giving them clear instructions and guidance.

 

Responsibilities:

Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues

•Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations

•Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available

•Follow the guidance of the Head or Sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes

•Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality

•Enforce strict health and hygiene standards

•Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

•Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

 

Requirements:

•Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role

•Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes

•Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

•Knowledge of best cooking practices

 

Full time - hours to include evenings and weekends.

Own transport essential due to rural location.

Bar & Restaurant Manager - Full Time

 

The Aviator has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Bar & Restaurant Manager to manage the teams in the Bar and Restaurant to deliver exceptional service to our customers and guests.

​

As Bar & Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Bar and Restaurant operation whilst you manage, lead and train the teams and work closely with the Head Chef ensuring a seamless high level of service is provided at all times. You must have previous experience in a managerial or similar role. You will be a strong energetic person who is focused on service levels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Completing weekly stock takes and managing stock levels.

  • Completing team rotas and ensuring adequate staff levels for all shifts in line with business requirements.

  • Coaching, mentoring and leading existing and new team members.

  • Ensuring we deliver high standards of service and hospitality to our customers.

  • Responsible for the day to day running of the Food and Beverage operations within the Hotel.

  • Hands on approach during service periods.

  • Leading busy and peak shifts.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Bar & Restaurant managerial role.

  • A positive attitude, as well as courteous and professional at all times.

  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for guest service.

  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.

  • Strong people skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of people.

  • Great leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate your team.

  • You will be flexible, adaptable, hardworking and fun!

Bar & Waiting Staff - Full Time & Part Time

 

We are looking for experienced, motivated and friendly bar and waiting staff to join our busy team.

​

The role covers all areas of front of house duties including taking orders from customers, serving food and drinks, talking to customers about daily specials and offers, and ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience. You will also have the opportunity to work on some of our events and functions which includes private parties and Wedding Receptions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Taking food and drinks orders from customers and ensuring orders are placed correctly.

  • Running food from the kitchen to customers.

  • Checking back on tables with their food orders.

  • Restock and replenish the bar and ensuring stock rotation to minimise wastage.

  • Ensure the bar area is kept clean and tidy.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous hospitality experience preferred, however training will be given.

  • Reliable, as well as courteous and professional at all times.

  • A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.

  • Able to work well under pressure.

  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.

  • You will be flexible, hardworking and fun!

 

Full time and Part time hours available

Hours include lunch times, evenings and weekends.

Must be over 18 years old to work behind the bar.

Performance related bonus scheme.

Own transport essential due to rural location.

Competitive rates of pay.
